Basic Information

Anatomy

Depending on place of origin, Aeri are usually slightly more petite and lanky than a human. In some rare cases they grow much taller and in return thinner than one would consider normal, giving them a malnourished and ghostly appearance.

Genetics and Reproduction

Can reproduce with humans, R'Naar and R'Aer.

Growth Rate & Stages

Aeri age akin to humans until the age of 18-20 years, then their aging virtually stops. It is currently unknown if they are able to die from natural causes or not. Around the age of 1000 years they start showing some signs of aging, like wrinkles in the skin and greying hair.

Ecology and Habitats

Oeitaran Aeir communities usually concentrate in magically active areas of the world.
Ossenian Aeir tend to hide from Megacorporations, those that fail at that are usually exiled to exclusively Aeir communities based on separate islands. Most hideaways are considered outlaws and are not given identification.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Recorded cases show a higher than usual choice of vegetarian and vegan diets in Aeri individuals.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Can see in the dark, are usually more resistant to magic, curses and charms. Usual sleep cycle is 4 hours a day.
