Finally, Josie Beth comes home, and, as a group, they plead their mother to come with them... "I can't leave your father!" Josie Beth yells. "Momma, please! He's been awful to us! Awful to you!" Lillian pleads. "You know what he did to Addison, momma!!" Myra sobs. "That lying slut disappearing was the best thing that's ever happened to this family!!" Josie shrieks. "And if you're going to try to lie about your father, you can go and get nabbed by the Sahuagin too!!" "Momma stop it!!" Lillian cries, holding Myra, who has crumbled into a puddle of tears. "You know what Quinn's done!! You know he still goes to the brothels!!" "Your father is a man with needs!! I am not one to judge him!!" Josie spits. "I was in this house for only a few minutes and saw Quinn mistreat one of your daughters, if you want to stay with that disgusting creep that's your choice, but don't go calling your daughters names for his actions" "How dare you judge me you--you--! Inhuman freak!! You come into MY HOUSE and ask my husband a thousand questions about his life as a sailor, then you rip my family apart as a thank you?? Spread lies amongst my children?? This is how you repay him?? GET OUT!! ALL OF YOU!!" She shrieks and points at the door. "YOU'RE ALL UNGRATEFUL BRATS!! YOU WANT TO LEAVE?? FINE!! WE'RE BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU!!" "I see you are sticking with name calling and I wouldn't be 'tearing' the family apart if there weren't already problems. I would take a long hard look at what is going on here before you blame me for things" Toz looks over to Calvin,"let's get them out of here, I don't want to traumatize them anymore" As everyone starts to leave, the group gets about 50ft away from the house before Josie Beth kicks open the front door, holding Quinn's blunderbuss in her shaking hands. Kai is faster to react than she is to fire. He reaches down and grabs a pinch of sand from the ground, blows it toward her, and shouts, "Taar draal!" The gun slips from her hands and she falls to the ground, asleep. Jordan and Calvin drag her back into the house and lock her in a closet, barring the door. Dottie Jo grabs the blunderbuss and throws it in the bathtub, then fills the tub with water. They all shortly rejoin the group and head off to board the World Winds.
