Notably a fairground and orchard, not much goes on in the town of Shar. Work is slow on off season; which is whenever apples aren't growing or having an event scheduled.   However, when the events come in, there is much to look forward to. The town is a buzz and filled with travelers from all over the kingdom to see the entertainment. Of course the travelling event may move through other parts of the kingdom, but none is as magical as Shar.   The night is cradled by the trees, but safe from dangerous spirits that haunt the ancient woods, making for spectacular star gazing and magic. People come from all parts of the continent to bless themselves under the starlight or see magic multiplied due to the strange affect the area has on it.

History

Unlike most of the Kingdom of Tubara, Shar is the place the druid responsible for their rejuvenating trees decided to settle, as he was given land for his efforts. On his settlement he nurtured the trees and moved them harmlessly with his magic. As the forests grew so did their respect for the druid.   As he wizened and his family grew, he passed on his knowledge to them and they too learned to respect the ancient forests around them. It's said when he passed on, his soul now rests in the stars above Shar.

Architecture

Most wood used is from naturally fallen trees or otherwise. They often find supplies from the wild within the fairground as well. They believe it's from the fey in the forests.   Fences are usually woven from flexible branches or from rocks. Often have natural barriers (bushes, trees lined up closely).
