The Winds of the Wicked
The Wind of the Wicked is a religious sect in Engarta. They believe that the force that spirits away individuals at night is a deity of judgment and the ones taken away were aligned evil.
Culture
The Winds of the Wicked embrace Engartan Culture, which can be compared to Earth's Nordic culture.
Public Agenda
The agenda of this religion focuses on a mandate that loosely translates to "do good deeds." This mandate is precise yet vague. Yes, you know what good is, but what is good? Is donating to a cause good? Does the cause do good? Is the money fraudulent? Many questions are asked about this, but the Winds of the Wicked know what is good and what is bad. Simply, to be obedient and following orders of the law is a good thing; while abusing, ignoring, and breaking the rules is perceived as bad.
Worship
The Winds of the Wicked have a building in which they worship. Most of the sermon involves news stories on missing persons and what they do wrong and what the congregation can do to not fall on that path. The design is tall and angular, there are bits of jagged shapes on the roof and the structure is sturdy enough to withstand a blustering storm.
Priesthood
A typical clergymen following the Winds of the Wicked are recognisable from their free-flowing robes. Their key colors consist of dark greys and pale silvers, a bit like their binary thinking. They also have bands on them symbolising the winds. It's curvy and doesn't meet at the center, only being connected by a white and black stone of swirls
Granted Divine Powers
Worshipers under the tenant have the powers of the wind to call upon. Those who are more devout gain an ethereal form. They're far from a ghost, but they do have the uncanny ability to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
Beware the Winds, for They have Eyes.
