Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

There have been times when slimes have been hunted down for their substance for glue and an alternate to petroleum jelly.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Slimes are located all around Oshunmare, but a majority of them have made settlements in Veneaux as spies and agents.

Civilization and Culture

Beauty Ideals

Slimes follow the same beauty ideals as humans. In relation to aesthetics, they would follow legitimate 80s fashion, those of brown and tweed. Surviving each day to become who they aspire to be.

Gender Ideals

The majority of slimes do not assign themselves a gender, they can simply be whatever they want.

Common Taboos

I wouldn't say that this is taboo, but I will say that there are two types of slimes, those who conform to societal standards and merge with the crowd, and those who separate from the mold and become their own. The latter have lesser people but are well known as slimes, taking forms they choose, sometimes using different forms.

History

Slimes have been around since the beginning of time when the world of Oshunmare was just a bunch of elements. The first slime was of a water element tainted with impurities of earth, making them more gelatinous and unfit to stay underwater. Some of the first were akin to a jellyfish's head. It wasn't until later when humans were made, did they form shapeshifting abilities to be more like them.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

There is a history where slimes are considered the ideal interspecies partner. They can be anything they want without their partner knowing with their uncanny shape-shifting.
