Vylneth

Doctor Vylneth (a.k.a. "The Murderous Countess")

Chosen by Kordes herself when Vylneth was a mere mortal, she is a doctor often depicted with her jaw hanging loosely from her mouth by a few strands of skin, usually held shut with a surgical mask. Vylneth experienced her mortal life as a doctor and had first gotten the taste of murder by failing a surgery, causing her patient's untimely death. She desired nothing more than to continue taking the lives of others under the guise of being a sympathetic assistant; after several years, her reputation began decreasing, and she chose to resign.
Despite this, she extended her reign, targeting what she had considered as scum or worthless drains on society. Vylneth would subsequently go on disguising herself, usually taking on as a squire, a sous chef, or, more commonly, a nurse. She would next go about brutally murdering and mutilating her targets, although she would sporadically use poisons.

"Doctor At The Catacombs"

A short novel about a young cleric retaining her duties as a doctor, all while simultaneously working as an assassin and harvesting the organs from the dead. Revolting detail is used when describing medical procedures and the murders themselves. Due to the atrocious passages contained within, it has been prohibited from everywhere but a single library in Rouvin. Upon reading, it is observed to cause nausea, and some have even reported the sensation of being watched. Allegedly, this book was authored by Vylneth herself, as it contains hidden ciphers that describe her cult.
