Fim

The former lover of Gor , Fim managed to attain demigod like powers in the Second Age, and at the start of the Third Age was able to rest some of Gor's powers from him and establish herself as a deity of Ortus. She spends her time in the Forests of Fim where she surrounds herself with beautiful Fae and nymphs - whether they stay on their own or are enslaved. She is the Goddess of Nature, and is blind to the destructive powers nature has on the people of Ortus. Fim makes her home in the appropriately named Forest of Fim where she rules with an iron first. Fim has little love for the woodland creatures, instead focusing her attention to the vegetation of the woods – the immense trees, shrubs, and flowers. There is rumour that Fim cultivated a garden in the center of the forest, hidden away, where she grows the most beautiful flowers known to humankind – hording their beauty to herself.   “Protects” those with the ability to harness Arcane energy, by taking them in, and through their development granting them divine power, as well as contorting them into creatures of the Woodlands (Woodland Sentinels). Older Arcanists actively seek out Fim, as a way to escape the disturbed, unfriendly world. They become her sentinels and live forever in her beautiful forest grove.
