Vasiliás

Vasiliás is the capital of Ànydros, and from this great limestone city the Sultan Khrysoar rules over the beastfolk tribes. Residing in the highlands of Ànydros the city gets a fair amount of rainfall each year, which has allowed the naturally carved structures to become overgrown with verdant moss. This gives the settlement a lush atmosphere opposed to the sparse vegetation of the rest of the rocky terrain. In fact, Vasiliás is well known for two things, the first being its vibrant gardens that fill every rooftop and the second being the grand colosseum that was constructed directly into a nearby volcano (now inactive). 
With Khrysoar as Sultan, the lands he rules over have found a new sense of civility. While there are still some skirmishes between tribes that have refused to fall in line (believing the old way of life much more preferrable), Most of the leaders have agreed that a unified Ànydros was in the best interest of everyone.

None have called into question Khrysoar's right to rule. The beastfolk have long respected power, and none command it more than he. One rumor of great popularity is that the Sultan has a dragon for a pet, and not a young one. The rumors differ greatly as to how he accomplished such an impossible feat, but to those who believe it, it solidifies his right to the title of Sultan, and his status as the greatest champion the lands have ever seen. 
The sultan often frequents the colosseum, not as an onlooker but as a gladiator himself. As of yet he has not lost a ingle fight, and now only challenges those who have proven themselves through great deeds and deadly combat.
