"Pelor's Majesty"

Saint Gordona sits on the Ni'mehr bay, and is known as the jewel of Norvo. It is no surprise how it attained such a name, as the entire city is covered in art. From beautiful frescos that cover the ceilings of every building to the mosaics that fill the windows of the many churches, there is no space left without color in Saint Gordona. The most notable of all the locations in the city would be Gordona's Opera house. An extravagant and open air amphitheater, the Opera house performs plays and orchestras daily, and fill the streets of the city with laughter and song.  
The city is also home to a beautiful harbor, with each building by each wharf painted with the image of Saint Mikal waving each voyage goodbye. This is believed to give the the sailors onboard safe passage and good weather. Fishing and trading has long been of cultural importance for the people of Saint Gordona, and through it food has rarely been sparse, and beautiful goods from the Gilded Coast have been brought overseas to further decorate the city. 
Not one, but two Bishops run the city. Pietro and Battista Castello each hold their own influence over the city, with Pietro furthering the love of the fine arts and Battista pushing for the progression of trade and business. It is a well known fact that the two brothers butt heads over which should take priority.

There are five great churches that reside with the cities limits, and each is dedicated to one of the archangels of Pelor, with the Opera house acting as the final church in Saint Gordona's name. The others include the harbor church of Saint Mikal, the church of Saint Sebastian located in the garrison, the church of Saint Sarath, and the chapel of Saint Releqial in the residential districts. Each has their own purpose, whether it be prayers to Mikal for sailors offshore, marrying of two individuals under Relequial's watching eye or guidance from Sebastian's apostles in the fight against all inner evil.

The lighthouse of the holy Quintet lies towering over the city, on a small island directly off of the harbor. The entire façade is painted with the visage of each of the archangels holding up a great torch, which in a beautiful gradience becomes the real torch held aloft by an enormous statue of Saint Gordona, with a wingspan that casts a protective shadow over much of the city.
