Petra

Petra lies deep within the Yahr'ayn desert, dug into the sand like trenches, but with many quaint sandstone houses lining the walls. Large tapestries are draped across the open trenches to give those walking the streets some well needed cover from the sun. To an outsider approaching the city it may look like many carpets laid out in the open desert if not for the many rooftops and chimneys jutting out of the ground and puffing smoke into the air. It is no small town either, and serves as a veritable desert metropolis. 
The city may be in an inhospitable location, and many work arounds have had to be made, but it is for a good reason. Petra stands in the shadow of the  pyramids of Yahra, an archeological wonder that brings in scholars from around the coast. Many dig sites have been constructed around these pyramids in an attempt to uncover the wonders of the ancient world. 
Salla Ag Sallat is the Golden Pharaoh of Petra, and has long been a seeker of ancient ruins and necropolises. As such he holds the Vulture cowl of Kalulatu.

It is believed that the pyramids of Yahra hold an ancient necropolis of extraordinary proportions- the only problem is that no one has found them yet. If the rumors and evidence are true, then finding it could reveal hidden knowledge about the god of death that has been lost to time.
