Nimerene

"The Great Bazaar"

Nimerene holds certain infamy along the Gilded Coast, owing much of that fame to its extensive bazaar. Spanning much of the port city, market stalls line every sand trodden street, their overhanging tents of bright colors protecting those shopping from the blistering desert sun. Since Qa'nehma's fall and the colonization of Norvo Nimerene has become the rising star of commerce, offering the largest trade harbor in all of the coast. This has led the market to flourish and attract all kinds of visitors from far off lands. Everything from ancient artifacts exhumed from old crypts beneath the sand to majestic hammers forged by the Dwarves in Dorgata.    As vibrant as the city may be, there are many shadows hiding in every back alley and mud brick house. The allure of opportunity has made Nimerene into a breeding ground for organized crime, black market dealings and most recently, the production and exportation of Grain. In recent years, this has skyrocketed and has caused many of the other cities to place harsh judgement on the ruling factions at play for not handling the problem effectively. Safety for the commonfolk has become increasing less stable, and crime has begun to overtake the city.    It is said that even the Golden Pharaoh of Nimerene, Neh'zahe  (neh-zah-hey) is in the pockets of one of the most notorious crime lords, Baba Montegu. Neh'zahe wears the golden cowl of Bovah'din (Boh-vah-dine). The cowl holds the image of a cow's head.
Of all the Gilded Coast Nimerene has the best relations with Norvo. While most of the other Pharaohs keep away from the politics of the north, not wanting to get involved in any capacity. Nimerene on the other hand has had a great trade relation with Anselum and Saint Gordona. It is unknown if this is truly the will of Neh'zahe, or someone pulling the strings from the shadows.
