Morah'din

Morah'din is the god of the hammer and forge, and the father of all Dwarves. This god is revered by all who are artisans, and long to create with their own hands. He is also the god of strength and fire. As stated, Morah'din is the father of all dwarves, for he made them out of the rock and sandstone in his image. Unlike the creation of the elves, it is said Morah'din lived among his children, teaching them how to harness flame and metal to perfect the art of smithing. He became the first dwarven king, and set the rules and precedent of all kings to come after his return to dream.   Morah'din is depicted as a great minotaur, and his symbols are a flaming hammer and the bull.
The minotaur are said to have been the demigod children of Morah'din and his wife Bovah'din. In the early ages minotaurs were a commonplace threat in the mountains, but many wars with the dwarves of Dorgata have left their people broken and divided. Those that are left remain in tight knit familial units, with most living as solo nomads. Those who come across minotaurs would do well to keep a safe distance, for they are more beast than man, and violence has become second nature to them.
