Kar'thatos

Kar'thatos is the god of warfare and violence, as well as necessity. He appears as a large humanoid with two Jackal heads. In his hands he wields a greataxe that ends in two deadly curved blades that resembles two khopesh welded to a staff. It is said that the two heads are in constant disagreement, one wishes to pursue peace, while the other wishes to pursue violence. It is believed that this keeps Kar'thatos in balance, so that neither side can become stagnant. For peace should always be sought after, but knowing when to resort to violence is of equal importance.   Kar'thatos's symbol is of two Jackal heads, each facing the other direction. This symbol is most commonly seen emblazoned on the shields of the Pharaoh-Sworn.
During their training the Pharaoh-sworn pledge themselves to Kar'thatos's teachings so that they too may be granted the wisdom of peace, and the strength of the sword. As such these warriors become very learned both mentally and physically, able to outwit and outmatch all those that stand in their way.
