Jah'ahl

The city of Jah'ahl is known for its positioning against the red mountains, it's large wall, and great towers. Built up by sandstone, the city has a golden hue upon the desert lands. Much of the city's wealth comes from the salt mines directly carved into the mountains. The accessibility to such mines has made Jah'ahl fairly wealthy, and has helped reinforced trade routes to other settlements within the coast.     Amon-rehl is the current Pharaoh of Jah'ahl and holds a golden cowl in the image of a crocodile's open maw which holds a gaunt face. Due to the many libraries that make their home in the great tower in the center of the city, the seeking of knowledge has been a lasting culture within the city. As such pharaohs long past have chosen Sitholete as their patron.
The great tower (also known as the Lore Spire) is owned by a great sorcerer. It is said that in their many years of scholarly pursuits they have amassed a great library of scrolls, tomes, and other such histories. Many travelers come seeking his aid in finding answers to the world's many mysteries. It is well known that the mage and the pharaoh are true friends, and have much history as an adventuring duo in their youth.
