Bovah'din

Bovah'din is the goddess of artisanship, the anvil, and commerce. She is one of the two gods of the desert to be worshipped by the dwarves, alongside her husband Morah'din. Being the goddess of commerce is a more recent theme tied to her, and it began when the Gilded Coast started trade with the dwarves of Dorgata. It has since spread throughout Orsbir, and Bovah'din has become the patron of Nimerene for that exact reason. Before her time as a goddess of trade she was primarily known as the patron of fine arts, and she taught her children such things. It was through her guidance that the dwarves became great craftsman, and soon the caverns of the mountain were decorated with beautiful sculptures.   Bovah'din is commonly shown as a woman with the head of a cow, and is always adorned with intricate jewelry of all colors and metals. Her symbol is an anvil set with gems.
