Arid Lua

"The Last Bastion Against the West"

Arid Lua is a military installation located in the upper pass of the red mountains. Built to ward the forces of the beastfolk that march upon Norvo, the city itself is comprised of garrisons built into multiple large castles on either side of the valley, with a large wall and gate connecting them. While not necessarily a city, a large town has been constructed around the base of the wall, and from there provisions are farmed and weapons are forged. 
In command of Arid Lua is War Priest Baltasar Valasco Martínez. Well known as an unrelenting general of war, he once acted as the Pope's commander of armies during the colonization of Norvo. He was offered the title of Bishop after the war was won, yet he refused, choosing to take on the highest rank in Norvo's military: The Sword of Pelor. Now revered and regaled as a champion of the people, he spends much of his older age using his tactical knowledge to guide the troops and train new recruits.
