Arafii

Arafii is the Goddess of the sun and moon. She was born in the night sky, the window into dream. In this void she opened her eyes and all at once the sky grew bright with blinding radiance. They say she shines so brightly that none can see her true shape. When she closes her eyes to sleep she becomes the moon, and mortals can once more see into creation. This is why there is a night and day. Outside of the two celestial bodies, She is commonly depicted as a monkey with a crown of stars. Due to her being the sun and moon, she is also known as being the goddess of fire, light, darkness, and sleep.

A common saying in Orsbir is "May you travel in the light, and find rest in her slumber". This is a direct reference to Arafii and is used when saying goodbye to someone about to embark on a journey.
