The Thunderbolt Bulwark

Though the Andar Commonwealth has historically had little interest in spreading beyond its native splinter, it nonetheless maintains a colony in the Ghostlands: the aether port of Lachra. Lachra is less an attempt to expand the Andarine sphere of influence than it is an effort to limit the Belhacinti one, for if Belhacint were to establish an aether port in the Ghostlands, the Andarine Sea would be surrounded on all sides by Belhacinti settlements. The result is an uneasy coexistence, an officially Andarine settlement which is nonetheless dependent on Belhacinti engineering to maintain the great lightning barriers which hold the splinter’s marauding ghosts at bay.
