Humanity's reach extended well beyond the stars long ago. We populated an empty galaxy. Colonies became independent systems, warred with each other, and have evolved into unique governing bodies. All pay tribute to one planet. The home of every species in the galaxy: Ormeyea.   It is from here that all life began, and it is here that all life is controlled. No one is born, only created. There is no green on this planet, only the grey and rusted skyscrapers that pierce the sky. There is no blue, only the green glow of toxic rivers of sludge that stretch across the lowest levels of the cities. For those whose life began in the ever-productive cloning facilities, the world is simple. Behave and you will have access to pleasures unknown to the ancient world. Question your makers and benefactors, or simply outlive your usefulness to them, and you might find yourself re-purposed into a far deadlier line of work.   Such was the case for Reinhart Torrkscia. He never once questioned the melancholic haze of work, drugs, and sex, until he found himself in the midst of an epic battle on the wasteland planet of Sauros. Tossed into the meat grinder of frontline combat, Torrkscia comes face to face with a species much different from his own. Though his only goal is the annihilation of his enemies, it is through them he gets his first taste of the word "Freedom".
