Orcovia

Orcovia is a large, island continent surrounded by sea, home to many kinds, cultures and races of people. It is, nowadays at least, a peaceful place in which there has not been a large-scale conflict for many years, but in a previous era -known as The Dark Times- the continent was the scene of many wars, conflicts and slaughters, a place in which strength and power, both of the magical and non-magical kind, were used to fight and gain more power. The most notable country within Orcovia is the country of Astrya, the largest country and home to the largest conflicts and changes to occur within Orcovia since the dark times- inclduing the the infamous Anti-Magic Act, a law that banned all magic from being learned or used, and all magical races from living within the country... on pain of death.   In the 800, nearly 900 years to pass since the dark times, the world within Orcovia has become used to quiet, peaceful life, with any conflict being low-level and easily solved. But a new evil is rising within the continent, hidden under many different names and faces, making it certain that this peace will not last for much longer.
