Caliginous Fever is an infectious disease endemic to temperate regions throughout Orbis Mundus. The disease rose in relevancy in recent years due to an epidemic which spread as an outcome of the Great Hemispheric War.

Transmission & Vectors

The methods propagation for Caliginous Fever are unknown, leading many to rely upon superstition as preventative measures. Many also suspect the Hui-Sani population living within Karsmouth purposefully propagating the disease, further inciting violence towards this group of inhabitants.

Symptoms

Symtoms of Caliginous Fever appear slowly though prove difficult to treat. The disease primarily attacks the brain, slowing down cognitive function, leading to psychosis and stroke. Damage caused by the disease to the brain often leads to blindness, hence it's name.
