House of Ashmore

The House of Ashmore was a royal house of Cador, of Dival origin. Since its founding over three centuries ago, the royal Ashmore line has produced kings and queens until the War of the Crown, in 1671, that ultimately destroyed their house and wiped out the royal bloodline. Centuries of history and divine right gone in under a decade.

Dragon Kings

The house's bloodline can be traced back to the origins' of the old kingdom of Man, Dival, when Dragons still roamed the sky and were worshiped like gods. It is said that the Kings of Dival were descended from and similarly chosen by these creatures to rule over Man. As a result, their bloodline carried not only a purpose, but a power, as dragonic magic flowed through their veins and were passed from parent to child.

Disbandment

Following the War of the Crown, every living member of the royal house and its branches were executed by Richard of Dolcaster, including his royal highness, Prince Edmund. This was to prevent any future conflicts of succession.
