8th of Sa-Reshi's Waning, 2308 AC
"Orasrupt is a bloated machine, caked with blood, running on flesh."
The universe has ended.
Though the cataclysm that caused the First Sun to turn to black has been wiped from the records, the vestiges of the disaster remain, a haunting reminder of what has happened. Across the broken multiverse, echoes of that horrible catastrophe still ring even centuries after everything stopped.
An apocalyptic sphere of broken space and time surrounds the epicenter of the catastrophe - the first realm, the Realm of the Black Sun, under which dwells the city of Orasrupt. Once a city of wonder, Orasrupt has fallen into decay, dominated by cruel extradimensional lords and filled with the cockroaches of the multiverse. Orasrupt still remains an ancient hub of travel between realms, but is a graveyard in the wake of the black sun, unable and unwilling to return to its previous glory.
Much of this work is not my own or not entirely original, as this setting is for a D&D game that is heavily inspired by Kill Six Billion Demons, by Abbadon. It is my attempt to introduce more high fantasy into his world.
