Role

Leximm is the gnomish god of knowledge, secrets and invention. Leximm is most widely worshipped by his children, the gnomes, and the gnomes of the Vention Isles pay him the greatest homage as their cousins, the rock gnomes also pay tribute to Temeron.

Dogma

Leximm's teachings generally include gathering knowledge for the sake of knowledge and that creation, invention and craft are never in excess. “Without forward thinking and experimentation we will never accomplish anything.” are common words of wisdom given by the clergy of Leximm. All followers of Leximm share the same love of knowledge and its applications and most, if not all, carry a log or journal to keep exact notes on what they learn and find in the field.

Depiction

Leximm is usually depicted as a be-spectacled middle aged gnome with a heavy pick, a journal or tome and a heavy backpack. Leximm is almost always in a workshop jumpsuit or an explorer's vest as a depiction for his never ending curiosity to discover the unknown and to craft the uncraftable.

Relations

Leximm shares good relations with Baerad as both deities revere the creation of new things and the crafting of them. Leximm also shares good relations with Temeron as both of them respect the pursuit of knowledge. Since Leximm seeks to gather and preserve knowledge and create he is diametrically opposed to Kyrisor and his religion for his burning desire to destroy all that he touches.
