The Dominion of Na Ittire

One of the most fascinating experiments in government would have to belong to The Dominion, with its 2 monarchs from both the human and elven races holding equal power over the expanse. It is still a mystery to anyone outside the monarchy as to how this union even came about, as for the longest time the 2 races were at each other's throats. The history of the 2 races being one of carnage. Some theorize it was either crafty diplomacy, or that the first king of The Dominion was the bastard child connected to the 2 races through an overly complex family tree.
Regardless of the stability or origin of the national government, it stills commands much respect among the southern and even far northern nations, with them occasionally sending military advisors as far as Esnos. With the vast farmable land to the south and dense forests to the north, the economy of the nation is extraordinarily varied, as well as what must be imported. However, the nation has no shortage of workers, being the only other country to except the mass Tiefling migration. Though the nation leads in the lumber sector and produces fine tools and weapons all the same, it very much lacks a natural ore (a possible reason the nation has armed against Thoubar). The recent war, however, has put much strain on the arms and tools manufacturing, as all resources are being diverted towards the war effort, and supplies of ore and metal are slowly running out.
Most are unable to say what may happen to the country whether it wins or loses The Great Southern War. With her lack of resources constantly putting pressure on the economy, and a scandal going far into the hierarchy of The Dominion involving the Tiefling race, many outsiders view the war as a gamble, where they have gone all in to get resources. Even as the war looks like a possible stalemate, it would be unwise to doubt both the strategy and ingenuity of The Dominion's Military.
