Withuie Keep
The beaten path off the main road leading to the Keep winds through the forest, branching only where animals take their own journeys. As you get closer to the keep, the trees become a little more sparse, the air cooling slightly as a low fog rolls across the forest floor. You walk for a few more minutes before you see it - cutting through the fog, through the trees, gray stone spans out before you. The ancient watch tower is large, but not inconceivably so - larger than a simple outpost, but smaller than a full blown castle. Moss and vines crawl up crumbling walls and infiltrate the windows and arrow slits along the stones. You feel the air get colder still, and the fog swirls and thickens under your feet. A large wooden door barely stands, rotting, at the front of the tower. Small, rotting corpses litter the front yard, some fresher than ohters. It appeared as though some kind of assault had taken place, in which the attacking force barely made it inside. (These are Ankle Shanker goblins, from their most recent raid of the Keep before being wiped out by the Bite Blight)
