White Wairua (Wai-rua)

White Wairua (ghost in mauri) spider is a non venomous spider that lives in packs high up in the dense forest trees. they trap prey by creating supper dense webs that capture prey then they wrap it in silk and eat it as a pack they even eat birds if they are unlucky enough to get stuck. Humans often refer to them as Ghost spiders due to there stark white bodies that blend into there webs perfectly. sometimes they crate there packs closer to the ground humans avoid them because there webs are so dense and sticky that you can loose skin trying to escape. this is pretty uncommon because they prefer to create there packs high in the trees to capture flying insects bugs and unsuspecting birds. they are the only known spiders to create family packs of hundreds of spiders that all live and work together.
