leoli bird

Leoli (Welsh for locate) bird is a bird that lives on the ocean often going on long oversea migrations they eat fish and are known for their distinctively loud shrieking cry. These birds have amazing ability to find land so are a lucky sight for any person on a long voyage or even a fisherman. Pirates often tame them from chicks and use them as a way to never get lost and find land when they need it they are often the owned by the captain or first mate. Leoli birds are loyal and often protective to any human they befriend these birds are incredibly smart and resourceful.

a long slender beak with a small head with 3 horns, 2 wings and 2 long very strong legs and long feathery tail.

they are found on the ocean often nest on small islands with next to no predators.

they are very loyal if you gain their friendship or raise one from a chick often very protective will attack anything they see as a threat. they have a very unique shrieking call that is used to communicate and disorientate predators.

They are often raised from chicks by pirates for the use of protection and having the ability to always be able to locate land. sometimes humans befriend these birds as adults but this is rarer but if you get a Leoli birds friendship it will be loyal for life.
