Iskandaren

Iskandaren is a bitter cold, dry and dark ball of jagged rocks and volcanic formations. The atmosphere is weak and sub-breathable, you will require oxygen masks and preferably goggles. Few notable resources exist on the planet and it has high tectonic activity, but geothermal energy is also easily available.

The local rock varieties and atmospheric conditions combine to create fantastical shapes.

In the days of the Old Empire, the planet used to be Kiki territory but was occupied by the Zootzshi in the century following the Succession war. Earlier history of the planet is unknown but there used to be a settlement near the area where visitors to the planet typically land.
More recently in the Colonial war, the planet changed hands to the Kiki. There used to be a small zootzshi colony and a research station, but they were evacuated and the station was hastily dismantled. It is not clear if the planet could have any importance, so a small team of surveyors are currently located on the planet - among other things trying to locate any evidence on the nature of zootzshi activities on the planet.

Nearly 40km south-west from the village is a site of impressive spires that may have earlier had cultural or recreational significance.
