Metric Ghosts

Enigmatic phenomena that appear as uncommunicative warp bubbles impervious to known methods of FTL interdiction. Some are known to settle in orbit around stars, and these have been studied extensively, though research on them remains at a fairly rudimentary state despite this. Recent work by Sutender hypothesizes that Metric Ghosts are capable of modifying physical laws within their bubbles, creating favorable conditions potentially for heavy industry. Metric Ghosts are often associated with paranormal experiences.
