Oakshire

A small village at the edge of a forest. Quite far away from the city. These people live a peacefull life. In the forest, a tribe of trolls made their home many years ago. To prevent senseless bloodshed, the villagers have made a pact with the trolls. Both groups have their own part of the forest to hunt animals and gather herbs and fruits without getting in each others way. The humans and trolls both know that the trolls would easily win a battle between them, but as long as they keep their distance from each other nothing bad will happen. Recently though, the trolls begun worshipping a new unknown god.

Geography

A big forest with some small rivers. At the edge of the forest lies a village of humans. The fields around the village are for the farmers to grow some crops. There's a small road from the village to a bigger road a few miles to the west. This bigger road leads to a big city. The other side of the forest ends near some mountains. The forest is mostly flat with a few small hills. Very few travelers visit the village and the villagers rarely travel to the city.

Fauna & Flora

The forest is home to basic forest animals: boars, wolves, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, ... Deep in the forest lives a tribe of trolls. It's a deciduous forest where lots of berries grow. The forest houses a variety of herbs that can be used for different alchemical and medical purposes. Very few are poisonous and people familiar with the location know which ones.

Natural Resources

Wood, berries and lots of herbs in the forest. Wheat and other crops in the fields next to the forest. Meat for the hunters, both animals from the forest and fish from the river.
