Hobgoblin

Along with the dwarves and humans, hobgoblins were believed to be one of the eldest races in Lymia, and they carefully (and proudly) kept records of their many war campaigns in a time now lost. In the days of the empire, Hobgoblin armies were put to frequent use against enemies, and they were considered honorable members of that fallen realm. Following the collapse of the empire, hobgoblins were seen as brutes and criminals by the new power structures, and they fell from grace as a result, taking refuge in the mountains and caverns of the region where they plotted to return the empire of Ishkar to its former glory.
