Halfling

The busy sands of Lymia and the harsh environment left most halflings longing for greener pastures and more fulfilling lives in foreign lands. The few halflings that remained in the lands usually found themselves being excellent operators at caravansaries, where they could get a break from the city life, or as mount instructors and vendors. Some halfling families could trace their bloodlines back to Ishkari times, where they struggled to find their place in the militant Ishkari Empire of the time. Halflings that did live here preferred to keep to themselves, still telling stories of the cruel warlocks of the old empire, who would still linger about and kidnap unruly halfling children that didnøt get back home before sundown.
