Half-Elf

The union of elf and human was a rare event, but not unheard of. When it happened, it was usually between a human with magical capabilities strong enough to expand their expected lifecycle, or it was a result of mutual attraction (or both). Most half-elves in Lymia was a result of a union between an Avariel elf and an Ishkari human, and while they were exceedingly rare, some of these half-elves would inherit the beautiful wings of their elven parent.

Lifespan

Half-elves mature at the same rate humans do and reach adulthood around the age of 20. They live much longer than humans, however, often exceeding 180 years.
