Genasi

The Genasi of the region were in fact several groups of people with exotic and ancient bloodlines that had seen several waves of immigrants over the years. Most genasi were proud of these origins, which could be traced back to the mysterious people of far-away lands or powerful elemental lords, such as djinnis or efreet. Lymia did see an age of genie influence following the collapse of the old empire, but surprisingly, it was short and didn't leave much of an impact on the culture - although a genasi would likely tell you another story.

Genasi mature at about the same rate as humans and reach adulthood in their late teens. They live somewhat longer than humans do, up to 120 years.

Genasi are as varied as their mortal parents but are generally built like humans, standing anywhere from 5 feet to over 6 feet tall.
