Amulet of the Jackal

This beautiful necklace was created by assembling two pieces that had been separated - a side of silver, and a side of copper. The silvery part was found among other possessions in the Palace of the Golden Sparrow, and it was a vital focus point for a vision experienced by Leylas, a young Starseeker druid from the lands of Lymia. The coppery part was found in the possession of a strange, undead creature that called herself Kartelos - a servant of the god of the underworld, K'toth. While wearing this amulet, you gain the following benefits:

• You inherently understand the Nyxian language when you hear it, although you cannot speak it, nor write it
• You gain the ability to Turn Undead as an action, much like a cleric is able to. Each undead that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. See the entry for Turn Undead for further details.

The necklace might have other uses, but any attempt to decipher it further have thus far led to no results.
