The Turnuroth Study
The Turnuroth Study is a laboratory based on the pursuits of arcane and alchemical knowledge.
Purpose / Function
This was a place of study of alchemical and arcane mysteries. The laboratory was created by Aethun Turnuroth in 478 AS, and resides within the Turnuroth Mansion in Boroshii.
Alterations
Originally the study was only complemented with alchemical stations and infrastucture, but was updated with arcane materials and a library in 504 AS.
History
The Study was originally made by Aethun Turnuroth when he became head of his Clan in 478 AS. Aethun had been second in line to the head of the family, and as such had already dedicated much of his life to the pursuits of alchemical origin, so he made himself a workspace out of the space that was once a small ballroom.
In 504 AS, Aethun had become a master of alchemy, and so he eventually renovated part of the space to hold his personal library, as well as a space studying magic.
Unfortunately, the room was destroyed in early 558 AS, when a group of extraplanar mechanical beings assaulted the city of Boroshii, with one portal opening within the study. The machines were destroyed by Aethun's apprentice, but unfortunately Aethun was killed before the machines could be dispatched.
