Tharzidun
The Chained God (a.k.a. Entropy)
Tharizdun, the Dark God, is a deity of decay, insanity and darkness. He was chained by the other gods at the beginning of time after he transformed a piece of his Mantle and infused it with some of his own divinity, turning it into the Dark Shard, a crystal of nigh infinite power with an aura of evil and destruction, and tried to use it to slay Io. After his failed attempt, he was chained and bound within Carceri, and the Dark Shard was locked into a Lower Plane of Io's own design. That plane began to fester and deepen from the power of the Dark Shard, and became the Abyss.
