Divine Mantle

When Io took its first breath and created Divinity, that Divinity formed into the gods. When these gods were born, each of them had what is called a Mantle.
It is difficult to describe what exactly a Mantle is, due to its ethereal nature. The best way to explain it is that it is the concentrated essence of a god's Divinity. It is the burden and domains which they bear, along with the power needed to wield and hold dominion over them. It has no physical appearance per say, but to those with a discerning eye or magical assistance, they might be able to see it surrounding the god and looking like a colored aura surrounding the deity at all times. The color and nature of the Mantle varies by god of course, but they do seem to all have certain unifying properties. To those able to perceive them, they appear to be thicker and/or brighter around the head and shoulders of the god. They also appear to grow and shrink at points, with most religious scholars speculating that this has something to do with how widely they are worshiped and respected, by how many followers they have gathered and how devoted those servants are.
The other thing about Mantle's is that each seems to have a constellation connected to it. During certain times of the year or certain celestial events where a constellation is brighter, more easily recognized, or otherwise more emphasized, a Mantle becomes more powerful.
