Odrath is a land both vibrant with greenery and haunted by mystery. Giant Rings of a seemingly unbreakable rock mark a natural feature long since accepted by the natural denizens of this continent but whoose origin very few beings even have a clue to.All that is known to the people of the continent is that magic has a strange affinity to those spires. A long time ago the greater part of the continent had been dominated by The Yorian Empire, an empire of humans that survived for two centuries.The Empire has fallen following the Revolt of the Peacock, during which a group of adventurers have succeded in assasinating the ruler of the Empire and using the apearance of a large number of mysterious objects taking the shapes of large rings of unbreakable,smooth,black rock. Regardless of those mysteries the kings and queens of The Eastern Reaches are unprepared for the turbulent times that are coming with the Khanates of the Steppe beginning to unite under the leadership of a man of strength and will. The kingdoms are far more interested in their courtly intrigue and the rumors of lands yet undiscovered,than the threats from out of their sight,as people hungry for freedom take to sailing in search of riches and adventure. To their east lies a continent as of yet unseen,which houses many secrets eager to be discovered,from portals to the Feywild to monsters inimaginable, but the allure of magical artefacts whoose power can be deduced from quiet mumbles of the local populus are more than enough to persuade even those less foolhardy.
