Inderkar Peak

Inderkar Peak stretches high above the surface below. The path to its summit is steep, rocky, and covered with snow. Towards the top, the air is so thin that even Dwarves, known for their strong lungs, may find themselves struggling to breath at all. Thanks to how difficult it is to climb this peak, many Dwarves believe the place to be cursed, seeing it as a bridge to the afterlife. In Dwarven legend, those who climb the peak while living slowly have their soul ripped from out of them. There are no documented cases of anyone surmounting this peak and living to tell the tale. Those who try often turn back before reaching the top, fearing an untimely demise.

Geography

Inderkar rests within the southern Hurok Mountain range, between the Towerlands and the Central Kingdoms. It is the source of the river Moon, and is seen by Dwarves as the center of their territory and the world.
