The crystal forest

As if out of another world, withing the Crystal sea, lies a stunning cluster of sea crystals, froming a beautiful underwater forest, spanning 35km².

Stories speak of it's origin, main one from the Masked of Dantea religion, whic speaks of the goddess Dantea, who created the forest in a contest with her brother.

Fauna and flora:

While the place grows sea plants and corals normally found everywhere else in the Crystal sea, starangely, only certain fauna is found here, such as: crystalfin, Crystal /lionfish/ Trapper and crystal octopus.
Whenever it is a coincidence, since these species are attracted to sea crystals, or not, is unknown.

The fronzen core:

The further one goes into the forest, the colder it gets. About 5km from the centre lies a dead zone. No fish, birds or plants live here, unable to survive the deadly cold. A thin layer of ice starts to form around these parts.
By the 2km mark, the ice is too thick for any ship to sail through and by 250m from the center, the sea becomes completely frozen, and the temperature so low, you would freeze in seconds.

What causes this would make sailor's hearts sink. An enormous snake-like beast lies frozen inside the ice, hybernating until it's food sources replenish. Ragu the crystal dragon, one of the surviving myths of these lands, who calls this place home.
