To Dievant!

The Party, after emerging victorious from the Festival of the Hunt, begins it's trek towards Dievant, trying to find the remaining family of one Marlene de Trastamara.   One bumpy airship ride and some pirate action later the Party lands on Dievantian ground, and was immediately called to the Palace of Vitri, by request of Duchess Noranna Henrietta Brightridge, no less. She informed the party of her long lost sibling Iris, who was cast out from the family as a child. Noranna has been having increasingly disturbing dreams of Iris, and her concern keeps growing by the day. She is certain that Iris is coming home, and that she is in danger. There's no other explanation.   Noranna's musings are confirmed when the Party informs her that they did, in fact, meet Iris in person when she appeared from the brig of their airship and joined in the chaotic battle, only to quickly run away with her comrade Voltaire. Thus Noranna requests that the Party find Iris and bring her to the Palace, where she can be kept safe. Or so she hopes.   After being given their task, the Party ventured down to the city of Vitri to properly take in their surroundings, and maybe catch wind of Iris' current location. Instead of the missing pirate, however, they came upon two gentlemen who were bickering over lost belongings that they had left in their hurry. The men led the party into a graveyard, where two ghosts were making a racket loud enough to be heard above ground, right above the crypt where they had been buried. The ghosts demanded that one of them be moved out of the crypt, so they could be in peace, at least in death if not in life. The Party agreed to help one of them, assuing that they receive proper compensation. They are to find out about their familly treaasures and estates, in the same direction as Marlene's family, or what's left of it.   After visiting the graveyard the Party returned to town and ran into Void's old friend Rhys, a jolly and cunning thiefling who was very happy to see his old friend. He ended up helping them get a lead on Iris, or at least on someone she knows.   Without telling them who they were meeting, the Party ended up chatting with Voltaire, whom they met earlier with a gun pointed to their heads. He requested their help after describing Iris' curse, and that she was going to do something stupid. He knew she would.
