Oasis Lake

The centerpiece of Oasis is its wellspring of pure, life-giving water. The lake water is very clear and supports a wide variety of wildlife including a variety of edible fish, and the ancient Giant Turtles. The lake is infinitely deep and covers about 30 square miles. Occasionally someone will spot a water elemental that has manifested itself in the lake, but no one has ever discovered how they arrive.

Geography

The lake is a freshwater column of water that breaks the surface of the desert. At a low point in the Twisting Sands , the oasis formed and became an ideal stop for travelers crossing the desert. There are a few smaller oasis in the surrounding area, although the terrain is difficult to map, experienced travelers often find refuge and adventure far away from the vast Oasis Lake.
