Sief's Gift

He returned life to the desert wasteland.

While the rest of the civilizations decayed and fled, the Tenders of Sief remained devout and continued to worship the god in hopes that he would return the lush greenery to the world. They lived in the rocky crags along the northern edge of the Hollows, in present-day Mihlaj. Sief, impressed with their dedication, promised himself that if they remained in the area as devout followers for two hundred years, he would grant them their request. They stayed. Searching the world for a water elemental, he located one nearby and gifted it to the Tenders so that they could begin a new civilization on the dusty bones of the long-forgotten lake. Little did he know that the water elemental was really half of a mud elemental. The surprising part is that it wasn't even a true mud elemental, but a gnoll shaman known as Pungysh who was shapeshifting into the guise of the powerful being and posing as a deity for the gnoll tribe to worship.
