Mel'agari

The Mel'agari are a people renowned for their many settlements that are aloft in forest canopies or giant flower fields that find themselves closer to a great tree than any other civilization that isn't Rhen'Moriloth.

Beekeepers. Giant bees are one of the hardest creatures to handle agriculturally as a single sting can be fatal. Though the boons of such a trade are well worth the risk. The Mel'agari are some of the only people able to tend to the bees as well as harvest their honey.

Mel'agari Honey. Mel'agari honey is one of the most miraculous substances on Oake'Ash as it finds itself used in many foods, medical and magical applications. For food it is revered by many chefs or brewers for its sweetness and complex flavour profile, a single drop of this honey could months though many use it in abundance. For its medical properties, it is used as an antibacterial agent, a barrier applicant for burns or cuts and is even a base component for many restorative portents and potions. For magical properties, it is used in many spells as a binding agent, many use it in enchantment, transmutation or conjuration.

Mel'agari Swarms. The beekeepers of Mel'agari use their bees for more than just producing their miraculous honey, their bees have singers and they know how to use them. Usually, when a bee stings it is fatal to the bee, however, this is not true for Mel'agari bees as they have been outfitted with special armour that protects the bee even from itself. This has to lead to the Mel'agari becoming sought after by many militant forces. When the Mel'agari requires more currency they have been known to take contracts but generally, they keep their forces for the protection of their hives and peoples.
