Chamber of Solar
The room is bathed in golden solar light, shadows illuminated silver. The room held the aspect of unbiased justice, visible, all considered. The seats of the great solar chamber sat in an amphitheater, its highest seat reserved for the grand adjudicator.
The Chamber of Solar is the home of justice, many come to discuss the laws of the many realms that surround the holy city of Dueam. While it is not the place of the Chamber of Solar to dictate the laws of the realms within themselves. It is the place of the Chamber of Solar to adjudicate them when considering them in accordance with surrounding realms and the world as a whole. Such matters may include treaties of peace or war, breaches in trade agreements, or other crimes.
Avatar of Light. The Avatar of Light is the Grand Adjudicator of the Chamber of Solar. Their role is as governing the light domain of Dueam, keeping peace and stability among the religious factions of Hosun and their many Clerics and Paladins. While also acting as head of the high courts of law, overseeing the many law cases that are brought before them in the Chamber of Solar. The Avatar of Light rarely leaves the city of Dueam, this is due to both security and the delegation of judges and lawyers. To become the Avatar of Light, one must be elected by the eight Judges. Once a decision has been made the prospect may anoint themselves in holy oils and walk through the holy light, A sacrad pyre that has been a flame for millennia. If they survive the sacred flame then they are sworn in as the Avatar of Light.
Judges. There are eight judges that reside under the avatar of light, these judges are given the agency to use their knowledge of the law as they see fit. These judges do preside over the many cases that are brought to Dueam. Some may also travel to various parts of the world to oversee cases if it is called for. To become a Judge one must be a lawyer first.
Lawyers. Lawyers are delegated to research and argue the facts for consideration of the Judges and Lawyers of the Chamber of Solar.
