Ce'othrokk, Blood Quenching
Ce'othrokk is a bloodsmithing technique that infuses weapons with a property that allows for the weapon to deal more damage against the creature type the weapon was quenched in. When the weapon is forged the crafter must hold the word Ce'othrokk firmly in their mind, every intent and action with forging the weapon is Ce'othrokk. This process allows the weapon to become lighter as micro-fissures appear through the weapon, invisible to the untrained eye. These Fisures allow for the weapon to sap and "drink" the blood of the enemies it was intended for.
Blood Smiths:
Blood smithing is a rare skill, that is said to have been a skill of the old world. There is only a handful that know the skill and many covet its secrets, blood quenching is one of the more common and well-known techniques employed. There are many more that remain only known to the blood smiths of Oaken'Ash. The art of bloodsmithing is utilized by knowing the words of old, during the smithing process, the smith must hold words of power in their mind while they are creating. It is said that this process can take a terrible toll on those who utilize it some even lose their minds as they are shattered under the pressure of attempting to hold the words. These words guide the intent and actions of the smith which in turn infuses the weapon with the intended properties. Many blood smiths go on to develop their own forms of smithing through the understanding and mastery of blood smithing.
