Nyrm

In a world long gone an alliance of gods from multiple pantheon's sacrificed all the other deities, along with all the planes including the mortal realm. With this energy they sought to remake their universe with them as the head of new pantheons, instead, they would find themselves foiled by a last ditch effort by a party of mortals who gave their lives to beat them. However, the universe was still reborn with no gods to shape it the wild forces of the realms taking control. After the plane was shaped the world was suddenly filled with races that had been in stasis, meant to be used as a base for new races instead were left to inhabit a newly formed world filled with a multitude of races, magic, and monsters. With an empty pantheon, this was not a realm created by gods but has instead became a realm that has made its gods as the leftover domains and powers of those before were left to be claimed by whatever could take them.   New gods still rise, but for the most part the great war that resulted in the pantheons of this world has ended with the fall and rise of gods only happening during era-defining events.
