This sparkling material, which is sometimes visible and sometimes not, is usually salvaged within clear synth receptacles.

History & Usage

Everyday use

• When used as an additional component as part of a crafting task, every 2 units of thaum dust reduces the time to craft by half.
• In addition, 1 unit of thaum dust can be used as part of another action to gain one additional action (for a total of two actions on the round the thaum dust is used). However, this burst of quickened time inflicts 3 points of Speed damage (ignores Armor) on the character. It also uses up the unit of thaum dust.
